Our History

Bundelkhand Art Society is the fastest growing organization in the Bundelkhand Region. Find out the history of the Bundelkhand Art Society & our achievements. We are creating the history of Bundelkhand Art since the establishment of the Bundelkhand Art Society.

There was the requirement of an organization in the Bundelkhand Region that can regularize & keep active the National & International artistic activities by developing, empowering & promoting all types of Fine Arts & Culture. This was the dream of Bundelkhand born eminent artist & Art Educationist Mueen Akhtar. He has the desire to see the Bundelkhand Region as an international center for Arts and culture. He also dreamt to build up a strong art community at a large level to support and promote them. He also wishes to revive Bundeli Folk Art and make it popularize in the whole world. 

Inspiring & motivating with his great dream and vision, His wife Tabassum Bano along with Vikrant Jha, Manjali Suneriya, Farhin Naaz, Sabhiha Naaz, Anand Shrivastava, and Ramesh Sonkar established Bundelkhand Art Society on 30 May 2017.

Bundelkhand art Society is one & only growing organization which has been successful so far to regularize & keep National Artistic activities alive in its last few years. Working on its vision & mission, Soon Bundelkhand Art Society will introduce its International Projects to shine in the international art world.

2017-2018

Society introduced its first project-1st Bundelkhand Art Festival-2017-18” for the students & schools of the Bundelkhand area. Under this project, we organized the painting competition at the school level.

1st Bundelkhand National Annual art Exhibition was launched and organized successfully in the month of Fab, 2018.

As a first-ever event, we hosted First Bundelkhand Art Festival-2017. Under this,  the various programs were organized in Hafiz Siddique Inter College (English Medium), Jhansi at 10.00 am on 02 Oct 2017.

Bundelkhand Art Society organised various competitions at Swami Vivekanand College, Rani Mahal, Jhansi.  The date of the event was 26th December, 2017.Bundelkhand Art Festival-2017

2018-2019

Society organized its – 2nd Bundelkhand Art Festival-2018-19” for the students & schools of the Bundelkhand area. Under this project, we covered many schools and conducted painting competitions at the school level.

2nd Bundelkhand National Annual art Exhibition & Awards-2018-19 was organized successfully in the month of Fab, 2018. Society added 13 awards in this exhibition to promote more and more artists.

2019-2020

Society organized its first Manu-the Power of Women, An International Women Artist Exhibition-2020 on the occasion of International Women’s day. The society hosted this event free of cost and gave away five Gold medals to the women artists to promote and encourage them.

Celebrating International Women’s Day, Society honored with the Manu award of Honor to the three women of the Bundelkhand region for their extraordinary contribution in their respective fields.

2020-2021

In March 2020, the Society started working on its online platform. Soon on 20 May 2020, we inaugurated our First ever online program with the launch of our new website- Online Art Gallery. Our first event on this platform was- Inaugural Exhibition of Online Art Gallery.

After this on 6 July 2020, we hosted “We Against Corona-an International Online Exhibition-2020” for spreading awareness regarding Coronavirus. A great response was seen from all over the world.

On the occasion of Children’s Day on 14 Nov, we host the first All-India Child Art Exhibition & Contest-2020. The children of India showed a huge response to this event. Around 350 children participated in this program.

In 2021 January, again the Society hosted a New Year Celebration get to gather party on 10 January 2021. On this occasion, many new members joined us. They were awarded membership certificates. On the same occasion Artist, Kishan Soni was honored on his selection as one of the members of the Lalitkala Committee.

Again, the Society organized the second edition of Manu2-the Power of Women, An International Women Artist Exhibition-2021 on 6 March 2021 on the occasion of International Women’s Day. The society again hosted this event free of cost and gave away five gold medals to the women artists to promote and encourage them.

We gave prizes including Gold, Silver & Bronze medals to around 200 participants. Around 400 children participated in this program.

Earlier on 11 Nov 2021, we hosted the Diwali Milan Samaroh on the occasion of the festival Diwali. This event was organized in Goyanka Public School Jhansi. All the members and Post-holders of the society were invited in this Samaroh. On the same occasion, we distributed prizes and medals of 2nd All India Child Online Art Exhibition-2021 to the participants of Goyanka Public School Jhansi. 

The third edition of the Manu Exhibition was hosted by the Society. Manu3- the Power of Women, An International Women Artist Exhibition-2022 was organised on 7 and 8 March 2022. On the occasion of International Women’s Day, again we honoured 5 artist with Gold Medals and 2 award of the Manu the Honour were given.
