To develop and encourage arts and arts activities in the Bundelkhand region & to develop it as an international center for arts and culture, We started an annual art exhibition to make an atmosphere of art in which National artists along with the artists of the Bundelkhand region may work together to uplift and develop Art. So the organization of “1st Bundelkhand National Annual Art Exhibition-2018” was our first step to achieve our objects to develop and encourage arts and arts activities in this region.
Date & Venue of First Bundelkhand Annual Art Exhibition-2018
Bundelkhand Art Society organized these three days events from 8th Feb 2017 to 10th Feb 2018. The Society hosted this event in association with Govt. Museum Jhansi. However, this event was held in the Art Gallery of Govt. Museum Jhansi.
Call for Artist: First of all the society has called for the artists to participate in this exhibition. They will be asked to mail photographs of artists and his/her works as the entry in a prescribed time period.

As an entry, we asked the photograph of artists and his/her works through the mail in a prescribed time period. Consequently, Within the time period, we got entries.
Selection Procedure: After the deadline for receiving entries, our selection committee shortlisted the artists for the show. Then the Society asked the shortlisted artists to submit a registration fee and their selected work.
Inauguration: The exhibition was inaugurated on 8 Feb 2018 at 3.00 pm. Shri Suresh Kumar Dubey was the Cheif Guest of the event. While Mr. Shamim Shaikh was the guest of honor of the event. However, Mr. Suresh Kumar is the Regional Officer of Archeological Survey of India, Jhansi UP. On the other hand, the Guest of honor Shri Shamim Shaikh is a renowned Writer & Historian.
Artist: In this art exhibition, overall 27 artists participated and showcased their work in the gallery. Mr. Dheeraj Khare was the coordinator of the program. State-wise and region wise details of the artists were as follow:
